Mobius is seeking a Principal Acquisition Analyst! In this role you will become a member of the support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO. Duties of a Principal Acquisition Analyst may include: Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership Support and interact on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand) Qualifications Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS Experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoD Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution Prior MDA experience Education Bachelors Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or Master Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience Clearance Active Secret clearance Colorado Pay Range $140,000 — $155,000 USD Mobius Benefits: Mobius offers a stable work environment, a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental and vision plans, 401k Plan, Flexible Work Schedules, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Leave and much more.
