This role is not for a traditional ABAPer; we need a modern developer capable of building robust applications within <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">S/4HANA</span> using the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESTful Application Programming (RAP)</span> model and orchestrating complex integrations using the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SAP Integration Suite</span>.</p>\n<p>You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable solutions, exposing backend logic via OData APIs, and connecting our S/4HANA landscape with external systems through Cloud Integration (iFlows).</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> S/4HANA &amp; RAP Development</span></li>\n</ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and develop end-to-end solutions in S/4HANA using <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Modern ABAP</span> syntax.</li>\n<li>Build and maintain OData services using the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)</span> for Fiori applications and external consumption.</li>\n<li>Develop and manage <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Data Services (CDS) Views</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AMDP</span> (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) to push logic to the HANA database layer.</li>\n<li>Ensure \"Clean Core\" extensibility principles are followed (using Key User Extensibility and Developer Extensibility).</li>\n</ul>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Integration &amp; API Management</span></li>\n</ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and monitor integration flows (<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">iFlows</span>) within the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SAP Integration Suite</span> (formerly CPI).</li>\n<li>Configure standard adapters (SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP, JDBC) to connect S/4HANA with third-party applications and cloud solutions.</li>\n<li>Implement custom logic in integrations using <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Groovy Scripting</span> or XSLT mapping where standard adapters do not suffice.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot connectivity issues and monitor message processing in the Cloud Integration tenant.</li>\n</ul>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Technical Architecture &amp; Quality</span></li>\n</ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.</li>\n<li>Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and performance best practices (especially regarding HANA performance).</li>\n<li>Debug complex issues spanning across the backend (S/4) and the integration layer (BTP).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Core Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Strong expertise in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABAP on HANA</span>, specifically <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CDS Views</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Object-Oriented ABAP</span>.</li>\n<li>Proven experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SAP Gateway</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">OData</span> service creation.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must-Have:</span> Hands-on experience with the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)</span> (Managed and Unmanaged scenarios).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must-Have:</span> Experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)</span>, including building custom <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">iFlows</span>.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certification in SAP S/4HANA Development or SAP Integration Suite.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Side-by-Side Extensibility on SAP BTP.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Soft Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Self-motivated and able to work independently in an agile environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
