It is an accompanied position (eligible for dependents).</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong><u>What You Will Do:</u></strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide Technical Leadership and mentoring for fellow engineers and technicians in the group.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide operations &amp; maintenance support for C-band and Ka-band radar hardware systems.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain, troubleshoot and repair various pieces of commercial and custom RADAR hardware.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform routine preventive maintenance procedures and run system diagnostic software.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lead and provide support for design and implementation of improvement and modernization (I&amp;M) projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Install new equipment from third party suppliers.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide technical input about system configuration and performance.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to RF and high-power transmitter equipment, switchgears, analog/digital control hardware, circuit card assemblies, and high voltage systems.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Other Duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong><u>Qualifications You Must Have:</u></strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Eight (8) or more years of related work experience.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Direct experience with field installation and testing, calibration, troubleshooting and acceptance testing.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs, MatLab, SPICE Modeling, and test equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to read and create schematic diagrams, wiring lists, and assembly prints.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to work independently on assigned tasks; self-starter.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Strong organizational and time management skills to balance, plan, prioritize, and execute projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to work within a dynamic, fast paced environment with time constraints.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 45 lbs. independently.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to work at heights up to 50 feet.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
