This includes, but is not limited to setting-up, operating and dimensionally inspecting parts on a Surface Grinder, Rotary Surface Grinder, Blanchard, Manual Mill, CNC machines, polishing/lapping- and slicing equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of machining processes, and a commitment to safety and quality\\</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Set up and operate surface grinding machines to grind ceramics and other materials to precise dimensions and finishes</li><li>Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions</li><li>Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges</li><li>Maintain tight tolerance and ensure parts meet quality standards</li><li>Log work done in Fralock&rsquo;s ERP system</li><li>Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting</li><li>Select appropriate grinding wheels, speeds, and feeds based on material and specifications</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and company policies</li><li>Other duties as assigned, including working in other departments</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred</li><li>Proven experience operating surface grinders (manual and/or CNC)</li><li>Strong understanding of machining principles</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and travelers</li><li>Proficiency with precision measuring tools</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Solid necessary math skills, including measuring and keeping count records.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Standing, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs. at times for up to 8 hours/shift.</li><li>Good communication skills</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Experience Requirements</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Experience as a machinist or other relevant.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li></ul><p>All offers of employment at Fralock are contingent upon clear results of a background check.
