    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><br>Job Summary:<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Precision soldering and component assembly under a microscope, test standard products made of fibre-optic assemblies, and to produce/assist creating new work instructions for their production. &nbsp;Assemble and test &nbsp;electronic components and PCB’s.</p><p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;With the use of a Microscopic, Manufacture and alignment of electronic-optical assemblies according to Manufacturing Work Instructions<br><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Builds Fibre-Optic assemblies using fine materials, such as; optical fibers, lenses, glass tubes, metal parts, epoxy adhesives, and other related materials.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Preparation of Fibre-Optic Cable and add Terminations when Required<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Configure &amp; Test Electronic/Fibre-Optic Modules.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to follow all work instructions and procedures &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintains the working environment in clean and proper arrangement.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures. Including the 5 “S” Principles, ISO, misc. quality system procedures<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Carry out other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned by Management<br>&nbsp;</p><p>Requirements:<br>Education:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Post-secondary certificate in related field or commensurate experience</p><p>Experience:<br>Required: Microscopic Component Assembly/ Precision Soldering: 2-3 years<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must be detail oriented, precise and fast learner<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions/drawings.</p><p>Preferred: Additional experience with Fibre-Optic electronic component assembly</p><p>Communication: Must be fluent in English. &nbsp; Must be self-motivated, and be able to communicate well with all staff levels.
