    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Consider joining the Pennex family as a Forklift Operator - Night Shift at our Wellsville, PA location. The Forklift Operator safely and efficiently transports materials using the forklift, which is a powered industrial truck equipped with forks or a platform for lifting and carrying heavy objects. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position works a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on rotating days and weekends.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.</li>\n <li>Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, extrusions, or logs and transports load to designated area.</li>\n <li>Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.</li>\n <li>Loads and unloads trucks as required.</li>\n <li>Empties trash containers as needed.</li>\n <li>Places empty baskets on wheels for saw crews.</li>\n <li>Empties scrap hoppers, separating alloy 6061 from 6063 as directed.</li>\n <li>Loads and unloads heat treat ovens and moves metal to next department or area.</li>\n <li>Follows proper procedures, starts Age Ovens selecting proper cycles.  Completes documentation and charts as required.</li>\n <li>Monitors Age Cycles periodically to assure proper operation.</li>\n <li>Ensures forklift is maintained in a safe working order.  Reports defects or problems to shift supervisor.  Completes preventive maintenance and corresponding paperwork as directed.</li>\n <li>Replaces propane bottle refueling forklift as required.  Places empty bottle in proper storage area.</li>\n <li>Assists with maintaining a neat and orderly plant, insuring aisleways are kept clear.
