About Us We are a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems. Job Summary Senior Project Manager will be involved in planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling all contract functions for General Trades, HVAC Mechanical and Automation projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Fully responsible for the successful completion of all aspects of the project. • Prepares monthly financial forecasts and updates. Ensures that the contract is managed in a manner that meets all contractual requirements and financial goals. • Manages the overall operations of the contract, including coordination of turnover meetings, scope of work, construction schedule, customer relations, job cost management, cost control of project, purchasing guidelines, project staffing, schedule of values, change order management, value decisions, scope management, attendance at project meetings; compliance of project specifications, foreman coordination of project, and the performance of daily operations.• Evaluate and ensure the efficient operation of the project, controlling operational expenses that is consistent with the project budget and contractual requirements. • Provide administrative technical direction and supervision of staff assigned to support your project(s). • Maintain relationships with all groups/individuals associated with projects for which you’re responsible. This includes customers, vendors, and other internal/external resources involved with the project. • Advise, discuss, and inform Client Staff members on construction matters and problem areas. • Advises project coordinator to purchase materials, consumable supplies, rentals, and services.• Maintains sufficient records, files, controls, and procedures to ensure management and work production. • Maintains a strong safety awareness and culture consistent with Mesa values and supports all safety requirements, both internal and external.• Provide adequate and complete information to administration staff to ensure proper processing of all project correspondence, records, reports, etc. is complete and timely submitted, and proper document control is maintained. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred.• 5 years of project management experience in HVAC plumbing or building management controls. • 15 years of project management experience in General Trades• Must have experience managing projects between $500,000 and $5 million. • Knowledge of submitting written proposals, scopes of work, scheduling, and coordinating site contractors and other assigned personnel; a thorough understanding of construction schedules and operations and the ability to meet demanding customer requirements. • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control all aspects of a new or renovation project.• Ability to work with the customer to find mutually satisfactory solutions to difficult issues. • Skilled in collaborating with management systems, as well as diverse groups of professionals, administrators, and industry personnel.• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. • Skilled in organizing and leading groups of people• Capable of working independently or as part of a team and adapting to changing priorities #Mesa #LI-Mesa #LI-HVACjobs #LI-Onsite Equal Opportunity Employer As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
