Cruising through the heart of Music City, Nashville Riverboats combines breathtaking views, outstanding cuisine, and southern hospitality to create one-of-a-kind experiences for our guests. Every event is unique, and every detail matters. Come Aboard! We are seeking an organized, energetic, and guest-focused Event Services Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients after their event has been booked, guiding them through every step of the planning process and ensuring a seamless experience from contract to cruise. If you enjoy building relationships, coordinating details, solving problems, and creating memorable guest experiences, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Be Doing Serve as the primary client contact after an event is booked by the Sales Team. Guide clients through the planning process, including timelines, menus, entertainment, floorplans, décor, and event logistics. Conduct planning meetings, venue tours, and event consultations. Prepare and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, and event documentation. Coordinate event details with Operations, Culinary, Marine, Hospitality, and Entertainment teams. Ensure all event specifications, guest counts, special requests, and operational details are communicated accurately. Manage event changes, upgrades, and additions throughout the planning process. Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service. Support event execution and assist with resolving issues to ensure successful events. What You'll Be Responsible For Maintaining accurate event records and documentation. Ensuring all client communications are handled professionally and promptly. Monitoring event timelines and planning deadlines. Coordinating operational readiness across multiple departments. Supporting revenue growth through event enhancements and upselling opportunities. Maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Delivering a seamless experience for clients and guests from booking through event completion. What You'll Bring to the Crew Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, catering, weddings, hotels, venues, or related fields. Outstanding communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Experience working collaboratively across departments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to board and move safely throughout a vessel. Ability to lift, balance, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to work aboard a vessel that may be away from dock for several hours at a time.
