    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented site engineer with a degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in construction for our development department at The Island Mixed Used Project (Limassol).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Site Engineer will be on-site supervising diversified aspects of the ongoing construction, ensuring alignment with the assigned project objectives, quality standards and compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements. You will also foster effective communication by liaising with contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Daily supervising of site works. Overall ensuring that the project is being executed within the required timeframes, within the required budget and according to the quality standards and compliance with guidelines and regulations, including permits, safety plans, public authorities.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Reporting to the Project Manager.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide and control the construction process. Checking the technical files and other technical documentation as required.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Following and monitoring the approved program. Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the Project manager and key stakeholders.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Overseeing allocated resources, materials and equipment.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Monitoring, controlling, and being present at testing activities.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project delays, cost overruns and safety hazards. Updating the Risk register.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conducting regular Health and Safety inspections to ensure that all the works are being executed as per the H&amp;S plan.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Preparing and participating in the reports as required by management. Attending site meetings and tracking actions required.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Verifying monthly evaluations from the main contractor.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communicating and coordinating with all discipline consultants (Architect-Structural-MEP), contractors, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Carry out additional site-related tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Required skills and qualifications</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">2-5 years of experience as a site engineer, civil engineer or an equivalent role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Knowledge of QA/QC processes </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and other software</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Attention to details</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Safeguarding: </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">At The Island Private School of Limassol, we follow safer recruitment practices and we are committed to the Safeguarding of our students.
