In addition the main duties include overseeing the quality assurance functions and process controls, supervising personnel to complete the daily QA / QC tasks; full compliance with SOP&rsquo;s and safety requirements, administrative policies; preventive maintenance; predictive maintenance schedule of laboratory / process equipment; monitoring of records, personnel development, process improvements and departmental cost performance.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Responsible for direct supervision and utilization of laboratory / water treatment / syrup blending / sanitation / microbiological equipment, raw materials, quality processes and people in a food production/packaging environment.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Optimize resources while ensuring raw materials and finished product meet specifications and manufacturing standards and in accordance with FDA, CFIA, USDA, GMP&rsquo;s HACCP, and all other governmental policies, procedures, and regulations.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Act as Quality Manager during their absence.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Monitoring production and warehousing processes and practices to ensure satisfactory controls for safety and security of finished products.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Working with internal management team to schedule work/tasks relating to quality compliance.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Oversee daily QA and QC inspections to ensure all products are meeting compliance<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Write, update, and maintain SOP&rsquo;s (Standard Operating Procedures)<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Supervises accurate and timely reporting of work documentations and records to ensure integrity and retention requirements.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP&rsquo;s) and to ensure GMP compliance of fellow employees<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality</p><p><br><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to work in hot / cold / wet environments with loud machinery, fumes and moving vehicles<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong analytical skills<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to ready, write, and keep records<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Good computer skills including literacy with Excel and Word&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
