          "text": "<p><b><span>Job Description: </span></b></p><p><span>Description: The Strategic Project Manager role provides business planning for US Medical Affairs teams. This role interfaces with all areas of US-Medical Affairs (US-MA) as well as parts of the Commercial organization. An in-depth understanding of AZ business processes, and project management is required to perform this role. </span></p><p><span></span></p><p><b><span>Major Responsibilities: </span></b></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Collaborate with both the Therapeutic Area Leadership Team (TA-LT) and Core Medical Teams (CMT) to develop the US-MA Medical and Operation Plans. </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Drive the successful execution of the US-MA Medical and Operational Plans </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Facilitate timely and effective decision making </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><b><i><span>Anticipate, identify and resolve business risks/issues </span></i></b></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Develop impactful project communication plans </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Develop effective frameworks, presentations, and communications (written and oral) </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Define and monitor key performance indicators/metrics to measure initiative successes </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><b><i><span>Facilitate and monitor the budget planning process within the therapeutic area. </span></i></b></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Run TA-LT and CMT meetings, provide strategic input into meeting agendas, and manage action items from those meetings </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Serve as a liaison between US-MA CMT and their Commercial counterparts (i.e. Brand Planning Leaders and Business Alignment Managers) </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Lead and manage strategic US-MA projects to ensure high-impact, timely, and on-budget delivery </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Provide direction and leadership to cross-functional project resources (both internal and external). </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Create process designs to streamline and simplify business processes. </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Enable best practice sharing and consistent use of commonly defined methods, processes, tools, and templates </span></p><p><span></span></p><p><b><u>Preferred Background:</u></b><br /></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Minimum of 3 years of project management experience </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs experience </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Brand medical planning experience </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><b><i><span>Oncology therapeutic area project management experience </span></i></b></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><b><i><span>Atlas program experience for budgeting </span></i></b></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Demonstrated ability to lead and produce results in a matrix environment: &quot;Lead without Authority&quot; </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>The Senior Project / Programme Manager leads a set of interrelated projects and / or Programme from initiation to close, to deliver effective solutions that meet approved customer and business needs. </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><b><i><span>The role is accountable for determining and delivering solutions to approved budget and schedule commitments whilst meeting required quality and compliance standards. </span></i></b></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Focus areas include stakeholder management (varies by organization), risk management and delivery of business benefit. </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>This role is also required to follow established project management standards and lead / contribute to continued development of the project / programme management capability.</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><span></span></p>",
