    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Part-time Activity Leader, EF Toronto</strong><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The role:</strong> EF International Language Campus Toronto is looking for a passionate, energetic, and student-focused part-time Activity Leader. The Activity Leader reports to the Activity Manager and works collaboratively to execute a variety of attractive social activities and programs to a broad range of international students.<span>&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This is a part-time contracted position until October 1 2026, with possibility of extension.<br>Hours will vary based on seasonality&nbsp;<br>Needs to be available to work during summer (June – September)&nbsp;<br>Holidays during summer will be required.&nbsp;</p><p>Some evenings and weekends will be required<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><br><br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties and responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;<br><strong>The Activity Leader’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to</strong></p><p>-Strive for being culture champion, focusing on student satisfaction above-all.</p><p>-Creates and encourages social, cultural, and sporting activities that cater to students’ interests.</p><p>-Be self-motivated, someone who is ready and willing to create their own experiences for students.</p><p>-Supports in all daily events and engagements in the activities department including campus activities, excursions, large school gatherings, and providing service to students.</p><p>-Assists Activities Manager with monthly activity schedule</p><p>- Assists Activities Manager with ISX bookings and new partnerships</p><p>- Assists Activities Manager with campus cases</p><p>-Shares the management of campus social media accounts.</p><p>-Joins activities &amp; excursions – including regular evening &amp; weekend work.</p><p>-Promotes school events and excursions, free or paid, through varied advertising mediums.</p><p>-Provides welfare assistance to students where required, either at front desk or out in the field.<span>&nbsp;</span></p><p>-Uses local and cultural knowledge to provide opportunities and alternatives for students outside of school-planned events.</p><p>-Welcomes new students on a weekly basis through campus tours and icebreakers.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span><strong>What we're looking for:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>-Availability to work evenings, holidays and the occasional weekends.</p><p>-Cultural and language sensitivity.</p><p>-Enjoy working in busy and dynamic environment.</p><p>-Social stamina and enjoys being a leader!&nbsp;</p><p>-Creative and energetic with knowledge of Toronto.</p><p>-Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure.</p><p>-Excellent communication and people skills.</p><p>-Flexible and can-do attitude</p><p>-Computer and Social Media literate.</p><p>- Bilingualism is an asset</p><p><span>&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p>",
