Come grow with KMC Stampings!</strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>SUMMARY OF POSITION:</strong></p><p>Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Brake Press Setup/Operator sets-up and operates brake presses and punch presses to form and bend a variety of materials. &nbsp;Responsible for part quality and efficiency.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Set-up, adjust, and operate brake press and punch press to form, bend and punch a variety of work&nbsp;</li><li>Set-up dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle and radii</li><li>Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates</li><li>Use scale, protractor, fixed angle and radii gauges</li><li>Sorting and packaging parts</li><li>Verify quantity &amp; quality of material</li><li>Moves raw material to and from production areas as necessary</li><li>Operates overhead crane while moving product</li><li>Responsible for strict adherence to all company/departmental policies and procedures related to safety and conduct</li></ul><ul><li>Other duties as assigned or required</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. &nbsp;The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.</p><ul><li>Good math skills; Basic reading &amp; writing skills</li><li>Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls</li><li>Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision &amp; depth perception</li><li>Occasionally required to sit, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl</li><li>Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds</li><li>Ability to work overtime when required</li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required talk or hear and may occasionally sit; regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. &nbsp;The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
