Description

Overview As a Product Specialist on our Guitar+ team, you'll help shape the products that musicians around the world rely on every day. You'll play a hands-on role in driving product and business initiatives across our Strings and Accessories lines, touching every stage of the product life cycle, from market research and product development to product information management, launch execution, sales enablement, and the customer-facing marketing that brings it all to life. This is a highly cross-functional role with real visibility. You'll partner closely with product management, marketing, sales, operations, finance, engineering, customer service, and our artist and educator relations teams to bring innovative products to market and fuel our continued growth. If you're curious, collaborative, and excited to see your work in the hands of players everywhere, this is your stage. This is a hybrid role. You'll work on-site in our Farmingdale, NY office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (and occasionally more often when the work calls for it). From time to time, you may also be asked to spend a day in our Brooklyn office. Expect domestic travel of roughly 10–20% for trade shows, customer meetings, and events, with occasional international travel depending on business needs — a chance to get out, meet our customers, and experience our products in the wild. At D’Addario, we don’t just offer a job—we offer a career with one of the most iconic names in the music industry. We’re passionate about innovation, craftsmanship, and creating a workplace where diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and ideas thrive. We’re eager to connect with individuals who bring fresh thinking and a collaborative spirit. If you’re ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear how you’ll add value to our team. Some Perks & Benefits of Working at D'Addario: 401(k) Retirement Plan: Once eligible, D’Addario provides an employer Safe Harbor contribution of 3% of total annual earnings, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional 7% in employer Discretionary contributions, regardless of employee contribution level Health, vision, and dental insurance 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave Fertility and family-building benefits Annual performance and compensation reviews Career pathing and professional development via LinkedIn Learning A generous allotment of Paid Time Off (PTO) days Flexible sick day policy 12 paid holidays Life and AD&D insurance Enhanced short-term disability insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition reimbursement Discounts on D’Addario products and merchandise Company jam nights, artist performances, holiday parties, and special events A passionate, talented team that loves what they do! Compensation: We offer a competitive total compensation package. The base salary range for this role is $65,000-$75,000 and is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in accordance with company policy. Responsibilities Support product development and launch execution — project coordination, research, testing, item setup, packaging, and cross-functional follow-through. Maintain accurate product data, digital assets, and content across internal systems and customer-facing channels. Develop and coordinate product and marketing assets: presentations, product copy, fact sheets, training materials, photography, packaging, video, social and printed content, and press materials. Support sales enablement and B2B initiatives through promotional support and retail account coordination. Help plan and run trade shows and customer events — logistics, booth setup, messaging, reporting, and lead follow-up. Contribute to market research, product positioning, and concept development by gathering customer, competitor, and industry insights. Support artist, educator, and customer engagement through outreach, content collaboration, and product inquiries. Drive clear, timely communication across departments and champion product priorities in cross-functional work. Own assigned projects while spotting opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
