In this capacity, he/she will use and maintain power equipment and hand tools, buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, squeegees and a variety of materials, for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, windows,  bathrooms, kitchens, carpets, furniture and exterior walkways.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities:</span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clean and mop assigned areas daily</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clean, mop and stock restrooms as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Dust horizontal surfaces 2-3 times per week</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Empty all outdoor trash containers daily</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings and events</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lock and unlock assigned buildings; secure buildings when facilities are not in use, checking for unlocked doors and windows; turn off lights</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Keep grounds free from trash and litter</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Report needed repairs to supervisor</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Know and follow all safety rules and proper procedures associated with the responsibilities of the job</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work well on a variety of tasks under general supervision</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of basic cleaning and housekeeping methods and processes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to follow instructions on the use of chemicals and supplies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong oral communication skills; bilingual ability preferred</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Experience Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Custodial/maintenance experience in a commercial/school setting a plus</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to stand, stoop, reach, and bend.
