Superintendent – Industrial Sector Experience
Location: Texas
Travel Required | Safety Sensitive Position

VCC is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up industrial projects from mobilization through completion.
VCC is a nationally recognized, debt-free general contractor with projects in all 50 states and a history of ENR Top 100 rankings. Our Superintendents are empowered to lead safety, schedule, quality, and performance on every jobsite.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Enforce safety policies and build a culture of jobsite safety Drive schedule performance and coordinate subcontractors in proper sequence Plan construction procedures aligned with contract documents and specifications Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and manage 3-week look-ahead schedules Inspect work to ensure quality and specification adherence Collaborate with General Superintendents, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve issues and improve construction methods Coordinate material delivery and expediting with the Project Engineer Obtain and monitor permits, inspections, and compliance requirements Review cost reports and process back charges per SOP Manage time and material approvals Maintain daily documentation: reports, punch lists, billing sheets, and jobsite records You are the field leader ensuring the work is completed safely, correctly, on schedule, and within budget.
What You Bring
Minimum of 5 years supervising ground-up commercial construction with a general contractor Experience leading $20M+ industrial/mixed use projects Willingness to travel as business requires Valid driver’s license Strong leadership presence and professional communication skills High standards for safety, quality, and performance What We Offer
