In addition, the Service Valet/Porter will be directly responsible for the prompt and courteous greeting of customers and guests in the service drive for the purpose of welcoming them to the dealership, being a valet with their car, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel, helping check their car into service, and checking in/out their loaner car. Service Valet/Porters will assist customers in entering/exiting and loading/unloading their cars.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities to Include:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Facilitate the flow of vehicles through the service drive, parking lot and between facilities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Drive vehicles through car wash system, performing and/or assisting with the car wash process.</li>\r\n\t<li>Clean the interior glass of the vehicle and dust the interior console area.</li>\r\n\t<li>Under direction of valet supervisor on duty, fuel and clean loaner cards daily.</li>\r\n\t<li>Transport sales demo cars back to designated storage at the warehouse.</li>\r\n\t<li>Report to management in the following order: Valet Supervisor on duty, service support manager, assistant service manager, service manager, and general manager.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform other job description as directed or scheduled, i.e., car wash, shuttle driver, team leader, shop maintenance.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain all outside parking lots.</li>\r\n\t<li>Drive in a safe and legal manner.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain good customer and employee relations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Report all important customer comments to management.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness, hygiene, grooming and appearance.</li>\r\n\t<li>Wear required uniform and follow dress code.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain clean driving record and current Washington State drivers license.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be available to fill in shifts whenever possible.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li>\r\n\t<li>Regular attendance and timeliness is essential.</li>\r\n\t<li>Work in cooperative, positive &amp; professional manner with all personnel in the company.</li>\r\n\t<li>Treat members of the public and customers in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner. Maintain professional demeanor while at work.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must conform to company policy regarding non-discrimination and harassment.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Equipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used:</strong>&nbsp;Pressure washers, steam cleaning equipment, water hoses and buckets, sponges, polishers, cloth rags, hand-held squeeze bottles, and mechanics hand tools. Rubber gloves to be worn as required.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Chemicals:</strong>&nbsp;Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a frequent basis. Employee will be trained by their supervisor on the safe handling/use of these substances. Employee will follow all safety directives at all times.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong>&nbsp;Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Lifting of 50lbs or less on an occasional basis and carrying of 25lbs or less on a frequent basis. Frequent pushing and pulling, twisting and turning of trunk, reaching and handling of objects, occasional climbing, balancing, and crawling.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Candidates for this position must possess a valid Driver&rsquo;s License and maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
