    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Solo With Supports Youth Coordinator</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>CHIMO: Where What You Do Matters for A Lifetime.</em></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We are currently seeking a full time Youth Coordinator in the Solo with Supports (SWS) program.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Closing Date: May 4th, 2026</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: $51,410.00 – $57, 494.00 Annually</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Solo with Supports program is a community-based program that assesses and teaches life and living skills to teens requiring additional support as they transition to adulthood. The youth in the program may live in a mentor support home or in the Chimo 5 Transition Home.</p>\n<p>Youth are assigned an SWS Youth Coordinator who manage a caseload, providing case management and hands on support through:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Helping program participants build the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to successfully transition into adulthood and thrive in their preferred community and living environment. </span></li>\n<li><br><span>Co-creating, monitoring, and reporting on Safety Plans and Service Plans for each program participant on their caseload. </span></li>\n<li><span>Working collaboratively with SWS team colleagues, family members, support network, service team professionals, and community partners to ensure a cohesive and unified plan of care and support</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A diploma or university degree <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">and</span> a minimum of 2 years of experience in Child and Youth Care, Disability Services, or a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Community Rehabilitation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eligible to work in Canada</li>\n<li>Clear, current (within 6 months) Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check.</li>\n<li>A valid AB Driver’s License, clean three-year abstract, three-year driving record with NO at fault claims, and access to a reliable vehicle</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs</li>\n<li><br>Ability to physically interact with youth during recreation outings, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Successful candidates will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate care and compassion for young people.</li>\n<li>Possess a strong understanding of working with young people and adults who live with challenges in a variety of areas including developmental disabilities, mental health, attachment, addictions and barriers to accessing community resources.</li>\n<li>Vave knowledge of community resources to support youth</li>\n<li>Have strong teamwork and communication skills</li>\n<li>Be proficient with computer technology and writing reports/logs</li>\n</ul>",
