    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for interpreting ASME and similar industry codes.</li><li>Responsible for following established quality procedures and processes.</li><li>Perform in-process and final inspections on purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products (primarily, but not limited to pressure vessels and piping).</li><li>Reject and disposition subassemblies or finished products as required.</li><li>Determine acceptability of welds by visual inspection as well as through the review of subcontracted NDE results</li><li>Review RT film for compliance to code of construction.</li><li>May review ASME code calculations and drawings for compliance to code</li><li>Work with shop personnel for accuracy and completion of shop documentation; create and maintain ASME code documentation and inspection records.</li><li>Prepare, maintain, and approve required quality documentation.</li><li>Work with vendors to ensure quality of purchased parts for company use</li><li>May provide Quality interface with customers and third party inspectors</li><li>Coordinate activities of NDE and other 3<sup>rd</sup> party vendors activities on-site</li><li>May direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities.</li><li>May provide inspections and/or supervision at vendor/subcontractor locations.</li><li>May be responsible for the activities of Quality Inspectors and other Quality personnel.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills or Tools:</strong></p><ul><li>Current CWI REQUIRED&nbsp;</li><li>Level II NDE qualifications desired</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding quality control</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.</li><li>Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English, Bilingual (Spanish) a plus</li><li>Computer literate in basic computer applications (email, MS applications, etc.)</li><li>Must have working knowledge of various industry codes and local regulations, ASME, AWS, NACE, API, etc.</li><li>Must be familiar with ASME requirements as they apply to pressure vessels and process piping</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p></div>\n",
