As a Floor Tech in our 30 bed hospital you will work closely with the entire staff in insuring patient satisfaction.</p><p><strong>Summary:&nbsp;</strong>Under general direction clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility. &nbsp;Duties include cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing of tile floors in the patient care area and entire facility.&nbsp;As part of the EVS Housekeeping team side work, room cleaning and other duties may be assigned.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors within the hospital.</li><li>Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to policy and procedure.</li><li>Use and maintain equipment properly.</li><li>Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely.</li><li>Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs &ldquo;wet floor&rdquo;</li><li>Ability to work with little supervision</li><li>Reports safety hazards a appropriate</li><li>Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Minimum 1 year hospital floor tech experience is preferred.</li><li>Understands Safety Data Sheets</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality</li><li>Detail and goal oriented</li><li>Maintain regulatory requirements</li><li>Ability to work flexible schedule</li><li>Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>About us:</strong><em>&nbsp;</em>Landmark Hospitals is a privately owned hospital system with locations in Georgia, Missouri, and Florida.
