Whirlwind’s goal is to provide fabricated structures for families, congregations, and businesses, in the most efficient manner while maintaining a safe work environment. The role of the Fitter is crucial to the overall manufacturing process of our products.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Read blueprints or other specifications to determine the scope of the work and the materials required.&nbsp;</li><li>Align parts using jacks, turnbuckles, overhead cranes, pins, wedges, and hammers.</li><li>Measure and mark materials to specifications per blueprints.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify parts for assembly in the proper order.&nbsp;</li><li>Cut and wash materials with torches (Oxy Fuel or Plasma) according to specifications.</li><li>Tack Weld pieces together as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Remove rust, mill scale, and foreign objects using grinder with wire wheel or wire brush to ensure proper cleaning of parts.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies at all times.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to meet or exceed daily production goals.&nbsp;</li></ul>",
