The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and automation tools, along with a strong desire to grow within a collaborative DevOps environment.</p><p><br></p><p>This role will work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline deployment processes, maintain cloud environments, and ensure operational stability across multiple environments.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and support Kubernetes-based application deployments across multiple environments.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines for containerized applications and infrastructure updates.&nbsp;</li><li>Automate Linux and Windows server administration tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of AWS cloud environments.&nbsp;</li><li>Implement and maintain security standards and compliance requirements for Linux and Windows environments.&nbsp;</li><li>Support infrastructure provisioning, system upgrades, patching, and operational troubleshooting.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to infrastructure and deployment processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Document deployment procedures, automation workflows, and operational standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services and administration.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or AWS Systems Manager.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting and/or Windows Server administration with PowerShell.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of containers and container orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a DevOps Engineer, Systems Administrator, or related infrastructure role.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to evolving technologies.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience supporting hybrid Linux and Windows server environments.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of cloud security best practices and vulnerability remediation.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience monitoring and logging using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and security groups within AWS.&nbsp;</li><li>Exposure to Agile or DevSecOps environments.&nbsp;</li><li>Relevant technical certifications are a plus, including:&nbsp;</li><li>AWS Certified Solutions Architect&nbsp;</li><li>AWS Certified SysOps Administrator&nbsp;</li><li>Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)&nbsp;</li><li>Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)</li></ul><p><strong>Security Clearance</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Top Secret clearance required to start.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>More About B&amp;A:</strong></p><p><em><strong>Notable Clients</strong></em><br>B&amp;A has grown to be a company that is trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees.
