This is your opportunity to guide high‑visibility projects, mentor emerging engineers, and advance technical excellence that strengthens the communities we serve.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead proposal development and create clear scopes, schedules, and budgets in coordination with transportation technical teams</li>\n <li>Serve as the primary client partner, addressing needs proactively and ensuring strong communication throughout each project</li>\n <li>Develop project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and direct task coordination across multidisciplinary project teams</li>\n <li>Manage project schedules, deliverables, approvals, and quality controls to keep work on track and aligned with contract requirements</li>\n <li>Oversee project financials—including budgets, forecasts, revenue, and cash flow—maintaining strong financial performance</li>\n <li>Direct contract administration, subcontractor coordination, and critical project documentation</li>\n <li>Lead regular project meetings and provide timely progress updates to clients and internal stakeholders</li>\n <li>Support marketing efforts, help identify new opportunities, and contribute to the growth of CHA’s Highway & Rail portfolio</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required</li>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required; minimum of 6 years of project management experience required</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws</li>\n <li>Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills with the ability to adapt style for various audiences</li>\n <li>Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred</li>\n <li>Proven ability to manage client relationships and interpret client contract requirements</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents required</li>\n <li>Experience managing project accounting processes—including forecasting, budgeting, revenue, and cash flow—required</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment, solve problems independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead innovative highway and rail projects that make a visible, lasting impact on mobility, safety, and sustainability</li>\n <li>Work alongside passionate engineers, planners, and technical specialists who drive excellence in every phase of delivery</li>\n <li>Enjoy a collaborative, growth‑focused culture where your ideas, expertise, and professional development are valued</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our Highway & Rail team is doing?
