Whether you prefer at-home veterinary care or our fully equipped hospital, our veterinarians provide the latest in pet health care, including wellness care, vaccines, dental care, and surgery. We also offer digital X-rays, in-house laboratory services, and ultrasound diagnostic care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>All of our veterinarians are certified Fear Free and certified Cat-Friendly practitioners.</p>\n<h2>Position Purpose</h2>\n<p>Come extern with us!Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.</p>\n<h2>Requirements/Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u>Eligibility</u></p>\n<p>Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School</p>\n<p>Must be able to provide student PLIT</p>",
