You will work at both American Family Children’s Hospital (AFCH) and Meriter Hospital.</p><p><strong>Be part of something remarkable</strong></p><p>Come provide remarkable care to our tiniest patients.</p><p>We are seeking a<strong> Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Intern</strong> to:</p><ul><li>Work at both American Family Children’s Hospital and Meriter Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the last semester of either a master’s or doctorate neonatal nurse practitioner program.</li><li>Deliver care to neonates and their families in a learning environment, under the immediate and direct supervision of another nurse practitioner or physician.</li><li>Demonstrate and participate in medical/nursing clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism and systems-based practice in caring for your patients and families.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Enrollment in a Master of Science in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice graduate program Required</li></ul><p><strong><u>Work Experience</u></strong></p><ul><li>2 years of nursing experience Required</li></ul><p><strong><u>Licenses &amp; Certifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Registered Nurse license Upon Hire Required</li><li>Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Upon Hire Required</li></ul><p><strong>Our Commitment to Social Impact and Belonging</strong><br>UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
