As a Retail Supervisor, you will be the premier &ldquo;SUGARTAINER&rdquo; in charge of delivering a SWEET customer experience while promoting our brand.&nbsp;This position is a steppingstone towards a management role within IT&rsquo;SUGAR. The Supervisor will be a shift leader in charge of overseeing all store functions and team members.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll do? IT&rsquo;S Exciting!</strong></p><p><strong>Laugh out loud, dance to the music, and provide a humorous escape to our customers while you,</strong></p><p><u><strong>Act as a Leader on Duty:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Oversees the daily operation of the store and ensures that sales objectives are met.</li><li>Evaluates daily operations on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations/initiates action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.</li><li>Fosters a productive work environment through consistent coaching and training of Sales Associates.</li><li>Demonstrates a positive, enthusiastic and brand proud attitude.&nbsp;</li><li>Promotes safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.</li><li>Partners with store manager to identify ongoing challenges and present solutions.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Follow our customer engagement model SUGARTAINMENT by setting the stage, welcoming, engaging, entertaining and thanking the customer.</li><li>Assist customers with requests and inquiries.</li><li>Ensure salesfloor is clean and organized while maintaining store visual standards.</li><li>Operate POS/ register to properly cash out all customers.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Achieve Sales Goals:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Follows through on customer requests for specific items and suggests additional products.&nbsp;</li><li>Use selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Support Store Operations</u></strong></p><ul><li>Maintains store cash handling records, reports, and opening and closing procedures.</li><li>Ensures visual standards are appropriate and support the brand image.</li><li>Merchandises displays to visual guidelines.</li><li>Plan, coordinate, and set up special events and promotions.</li><li>Maintain communication with associates regarding product recommendations to increase sales/inventory.</li><li>Understands all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicates LP issues with the Store Manager.</li><li>Operational Responsibilities include, but are not limited to salesfloor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Embody our Core Values:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Represent our core values: <em>IT&rsquo;S being Positive, Playful, Present and a Difference Maker.</em></li><li>Display enthusiasm and cheerfulness while working collaboratively in a team environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What you need to join the fun (besides SUGAR):</strong></p><ul><li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li><li>Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Years of Experience: &nbsp;2 years of retail experience and at least 1 year of supervisor experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Able and willing to work 32-40 hours a week.</li><li>Must be able to use a POS/cash register.</li><li>Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.</li><li>Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
