This position assists in monitoring and maintenance of the overall condition of the tires on company vehicles.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ol style=\"margin-left: 24px ;\"><li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when and where required.</li><li>Under close supervision will change, repair and rotate tires; process wheel torque sequences; conduct and document fleet checks; maintain service truck readiness; request parts and tires; respond to offsite or route service calls.</li><li>Track tire usage.</li><li>Document tire shop operations and track time in accordance with company procedures.</li><li>Maintain repair order documentation to include repair description, parts used, and repair times.</li><li>Perform monthly inventories as required.</li><li>Immediately report any safety violations and correct unsafe acts or conditions.</li><li>Comply with company safety policies and with applicable state and federal regulations.</li><li>Attend safety meetings.</li><li>May be required to drive a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) not to exceed 26,000 pounds.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ol></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li>High school diploma or its equivalent.</li><li>Successful completion of assigned training in tire repair operations within the first 90 days of employment.</li><li>Some mechanic tools from an approved list of tools.</li><li>Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>PREFERRED SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li>Knowledge of tire sizes and application</li><li>Knowledge of job-related safety rules and regulations</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>REQUIRED LICENSES &amp; CERTIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul><li>Valid Class C driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Safe driving record for last three years</li></ul></div>\n",
