Here, you will make an impact by:</p><ul><li><i>Demonstrate safe work behaviors to avoid injury to self and others</i></li><li><i>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and determine root causes of failures and eliminate equipment problems</i></li><li><i>Analyze maintenance and equipment performance data to identify and implement means for improving reliability, uptime, and quality of product</i></li><li><i>Know and apply the operating principles, purpose, proper application, and design limitations of electrical power distribution system components and elements</i></li><li><i>Read and work to indicated accuracy, specifications, and tolerances as detailed on engineering drawings, machine assembly prints, machine construction prints, blueprints, sketches, equipment manuals, and vendor diagrams, using both U.S. customary and SI (metric) systems of measurements</i></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Skills and Expertise  </b></p><p>To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:</p><ul><li>Possess or in the last six months of obtaining a two-year technical degree (completed and verified prior to start) in a maintenance or electro-mechanic field</li></ul><p><b>OR</b></p><ul><li> High school diploma/GED (completed prior to start) AND five (5) or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.</li></ul><p><b>AND </b></p><ul><li>Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, on-call rotation for weekends and holidays, as needed.</li></ul><p></p><p>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</p><ul><li>Two-year degree in Mechatronics, Systems Controls, Fluid Power, or equivalent field of study and five years of maintenance experience</li><li>A strong multi-craft aptitude in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Problem solving/reasoning ability</li><li>Good organizational and planning skills</li><li>Self-motivated, team orientated, and good interpersonal skills</li><li>Continuous improvement mindset</li><li>Ability to lift/carry heavy materials</li><li>Ability to comprehend, understand, and apply written and verbal directions from standard operating procedures, safety rules and supervisor coaching</li><li>Ability to wear personal protective equipment in accordance with safety rules</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><span>Pay &amp; Benefits:</span></b> </p><ul><li><b><span>The starting rate of pay for this position is $36.32 with the potential to reach $40.35.</span></b> <i><span>This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
