          "text": "<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </strong>includes but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>Directs and prioritizes team priorities to meet customer and internal requirements relative to product quality and production demand.</li><li>Interprets quality philosophy and vision to personnel in organization.</li><li>Reviews quality problems with engineering personnel and directs and facilitates action required to correct defects.</li><li>Documents and facilitates training for associates.</li><li>Leads team in continuous improvement activities, including Lean and 5s.</li><li>Communicates team performance to customer and business expectations using select KPIs.</li><li>Prepares periodic and special reports concerning team activities and problems.</li><li>Aids in organizational planning by participating in departmental conferences.</li><li>Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.</li><li>Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Helps investigate and addresscustomer complaints regarding quality issues and requirements.</li><li>Facilitates QMS maintenance, updates and implementation of changes and improvements, based on team activities and responsibilities.</li><li>Trains team members on safety rules and enforce safe behaviors.&#xa0; Conducts safety meetings, safety observations, safety leadership tours, and incident investigations to ensure a culture of zero harm.</li><li>Upholds Smiths Leadership Behaviors and Organizational Values of Passion, Integrity, Respect, Ownership, Customer Focus, &amp; Ethics.</li><li>Quality of work: Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, bias for action, and makes and keeps commitments.</li><li>Results and action oriented.&#xa0; Supervises to meet productivity standards.</li><li>Consistently, regularly, and dependably at work and on time.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
