We provide accessible, high quality health services and programs. Together with others, we work to build capacity and educate as we address both acute needs and determinates of health. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the position: </span>The Maintenance Technician contributes to the health team by providing daily operations, maintenance and monitoring of building systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all LLRIB Health Services clinics/facilities. The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Operations &amp; Maintenance Supervisor and will work with other team members.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor LLRIB Health Services building systems in all five (5) communities in La Ronge, Hall Lake, Grandmothers, Bay, Little Red River, and Sucker River;</li>\n<li>Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contract tradespersons for major repairs;</li>\n<li>Perform safety and security checks</li>\n<li>Perform preventative, corrective maintenance and minor repairs, on building equipment and components;</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues;</li>\n<li>Supervise other workers</li>\n<li>Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair;</li>\n<li>Work with minimal supervision;</li>\n<li>Ensure building operations comply with building codes, regulations and safety standards;</li>\n<li>Maintain clean and organize mechanical rooms and workspaces;</li>\n<li>Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, or landscaping coordination;</li>\n<li>Maintain logs, checklists, and maintenance records;</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications: </span></p>\n<p>Required Grade 12, related Maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, basic mechanical ability, proficient in Microsoft applications, excellent communication skills, willing to consider experience and education together,</p>\n<p>Strong organizational skills and able to manage time and priorities; Ability to work independently or within multidisciplinary team, Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset; and previous experience working with plumbing, carpentry or general maintenance, ability to speak/understand the Woodland Cree is an asset; Must have a valid drivers license and be able to travel in different weather conditions.</p>",
