Other duties may be assigned.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsible for live sound in venue</p><p>Will work directly with artist / artist&rsquo;s booking agent / artist&rsquo;s manager in dealing with tech riders - show advancement</p><p>Upkeep and maintenance of in house sound system</p><p>Setup and breakdown of sound gear</p><p>Expected to help artist load in and load out</p><p>Maintenance of sound storage space</p><p>Live liaison between engineer and bands</p><p>Will report to and work directly with Venue Booking and Promotions Manager. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Day of show Duties:</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p>Follow up with artist / tour manager&nbsp;</p><p>To confirm load in / soundcheck times</p><p>Finalize guest list</p><p>Ask for final social media blast from band&nbsp;</p><p>Give any additional instruction on check in, load in, directions, parking, etc.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2. &nbsp;Set up gear: PA, mics, etc using band stage plot and advanced tech rider. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;3. &nbsp;Test gear with ample time before load-in&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;4. &nbsp;Replace or fix any gear that may not be working</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;5. &nbsp;Make sure hospitality is setup and room is clean and comfortable</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;6. &nbsp;Greet artist and assist with load in</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;7. &nbsp;Make artist feel welcome and help with any needs they may have&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;8. &nbsp;Sound check artist, being flexible and friendly, but also stick to set sound check times as&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; closely as possible.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;9. &nbsp;When managing sound during the show, communicate with artist and be on board for entire</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;performance.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 10. Be able to help artist with any questions about payment, drink tickets, etc.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 11. After performance, help band load out.&nbsp;</p><p>SUPPORTING FUNCTIONS</p><p>In addition to the core focus &amp; responsibilities, the candidate is expected to complete the following duties:</p><p><br></p><p>Attend hotel operational meetings.</p><p>Assist Booking and Promotions Manager as well as any other manager as needed.</p><p><br></p><p>ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities include live mixing (FOH &amp; Monitor) and show operation, load-in, strike, changeover and system maintenance</p><p>Must have a positive attitude, a true love for music and musicians and a desire to give musicians and the audience the best experience possible; treating artists with the utmost respect is central to this position</p><p>Ability to satisfactorily communicate in verbal and written English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.</p><p>Prioritize and organize work assignments, have timely follow up and execution.&nbsp;</p><p>Have superb time management skills.</p><p>Mathematical, and reasoning abilities.</p><p>Ability to comply with physical demands.</p><p>Knowledge and understanding of Atelier &amp; Ace Culture &amp; initiatives</p><p>Technologically sound with basic spreadsheet and word processing applications.SA</p><p>REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p><p>Minimum 2 years of live musical mixing experience at a professional level required.</p><p><br></p><p>LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL, and REASONING ABILITIES</p><p>Candidate must meet the following cognitive abilities:</p><p><br></p><p>Ability to acknowledge artist requests in a polite manner.</p><p>Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written English.</p><p>Ability to apply logical thinking and understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.</p><p>Ability to address and problem solve.</p><p>Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.</p><p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT</p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
