If you are a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, we want to hear from you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do</span></p>\n<p>As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and running the extrusion lines - playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choosing the correct tooling, setting up, and running the extrusion lines</li>\n<li>Cleaning and maintaining extrusion tooling using proper handling techniques to prevent damage</li>\n<li>Visually examining, weighing, and measuring each hose to ensure it meets internal standards, making adjustments as needed</li>\n<li>Monitoring the line to locate defects on extruded products and shutting down or adjusting to eliminate defects</li>\n<li>Rejecting all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor</li>\n<li>Working with team members, shift supervisors, and all necessary personnel to address complications as they arise</li>\n<li>Attaining production goals by accurately and timely completing work orders with minimum supervision</li>\n<li>Completing transactions in the ERP system</li>\n<li>Accurately recording time worked and allocating time to the appropriate job(s)</li>\n<li>Operating a forklift as needed</li>\n<li>Maintaining a clean, orderly work area and complying with all OSHA and Puck rules and regulations<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-weight: bold\">What We're Looking For</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Competencies:</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Learning Ability</li>\n<li>Problem Solving/Analysis</li>\n<li>Initiative</li>\n<li>Time Management</li>\n<li>Attention to Detail</li>\n<li>Adaptability</li>\n<li>Continuous Improvement</li>\n<li>Ability to work well in a group</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED, OR 3–6 months of related experience or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)</li>\n<li>Industry experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<p>This is an active, hands-on role in a manufacturing environment. Team members must be able to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, crouch, and crawl throughout the shift</li>\n<li>Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs. and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.</li>\n<li>Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and communicate effectively</li>\n<li>Maintain close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-weight: bold\">Work Environment</span></p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, team members are frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, oil, and grease, and occasionally exposed to vibration. Team members occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and perform work from a variety of angles and body positions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
