AGENCY SUMMARY: Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing mental health services, social services and education to children, adolescents and families living in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. Dedicated to addressing a variety of behavioral, emotional and learning problems, we provide a continuum of care from outpatient counseling to residential treatment. Position Summary: We are looking for a qualified Licensed Group Therapist to provide guidance and instruction to foster emotional, physical and mental growth of clients through therapeutic group facilitation, intervention and positive role modeling. The Licensed Group Facilitator is responsible for the development, implementation and co-management of group curricula and treatment of youth referred to the Residential Treatment and Day reporting programs. RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE: Responsible for administration, group/team leading and clinical planning of appropriate therapeutic groups to youth within various clinical topics as directed via curriculum based on individual client treatment needs. Supervise client activities and be accountable for the whereabouts and safety of the clients. Provide required amount of delivery hours per week. Implement clinical planning for youth as designed by the treatment team and individualized service plan (ISP) and documentation of derivations/changes from clinical planning for clients. Responsible for the development, planning, of curriculum writing of groups being lead.  These curricula are to be completed and approved by the supervisor prior to all group sessions and are due prior to the commencement of any new therapeutic group. Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients. Provide physical restraints and on call coverage, if necessary, for Residential Services. Responsible for daily/progress notes for therapeutic service hours delivered, as shared with other facilitators within the groups. Responsible for weekly summaries of assigned clients. Report all special incidents and documents to the Clinical Services Program Manager. Participate in staffing as necessary for youth and family. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. Transport clients to and from the program in an agency provided vehicle, as needed. Applewood Centers, Inc. Dedicated to addressing a variety of behavioral, emotional and learning problems, we provide a continuum of care from outpatient counseling to residential treatment.</p><p><u><strong>Position Summary:</strong></u><br>We are looking for a qualified Licensed Group Therapist to provide guidance and instruction to foster emotional, physical and mental growth of clients through therapeutic group facilitation, intervention and positive role modeling. The Licensed Group Facilitator is responsible for the development, implementation and co-management of group curricula and treatment of youth referred to the Residential Treatment and Day reporting programs.</p><p><u><strong>RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Responsible for administration, group/team leading and clinical planning of appropriate therapeutic groups to youth within various clinical topics as directed via curriculum based on individual client treatment needs.</li><li>Supervise client activities and be accountable for the whereabouts and safety of the clients.</li><li>Provide required amount of delivery hours per week.</li><li>Implement clinical planning for youth as designed by the treatment team and individualized service plan (ISP) and documentation of derivations/changes from clinical planning for clients.</li><li>Responsible for the development, planning, of curriculum writing of groups being lead.  These curricula are to be completed and approved by the supervisor prior to all group sessions and are due prior to the commencement of any new therapeutic group.</li><li>Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients.</li><li>Provide physical restraints and on call coverage, if necessary, for Residential Services.</li><li>Responsible for daily/progress notes for therapeutic service hours delivered, as shared with other facilitators within the groups.</li><li>Responsible for weekly summaries of assigned clients.</li><li>Report all special incidents and documents to the Clinical Services Program Manager.</li><li>Participate in staffing as necessary for youth and family.</li><li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.</li><li>Transport clients to and from the program in an agency provided vehicle, as needed.</li></ul><p>Applewood Centers, Inc.
