This role involves responding to a wide range of service calls and providing first responder support during security-related and life safety incidents and emergencies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Access Control: Provide access control where applicable, to include managing access for contractors and delivery personnel.</li>\n <li>Patrols: Conduct general as well as focused patrols (interior and exterior) looking for hazards, building deficiencies, insecure premises, criminal or prohibited activity, suspicious persons, suspicious activities, items, or vehicles.</li>\n <li>Emergency Response: Respond to a varied array of “calls for service” as well as provide first responder services for all security and life safety emergencies and incidents.</li>\n <li>Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.</li>\n <li><p>Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.</p></li>\n <li>Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security across all operations.</li>\n <li><p>Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.</p></li>\n <li>Monitoring and Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in critical environments where decision making, and actions can impact life-safety and business continuity.</li>\n <li>Excellent administrative and computer skills are a must, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>\n <li>2-3 years of experience working in mall security.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid Ontario Security License.</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.</li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
