The position will offer the opportunity to work on small and large high-profile&nbsp;roadway&nbsp;and highway projects.&nbsp;You will perform a variety of tasks that will require the application of sound principles and best practices.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>Your Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Projects include traffic signal system design and re-timing, operational analysis, roadway capacity analysis, traffic safety studies, traffic signal, signing, and pavement marking and design, street lighting&nbsp;/&nbsp;illumination design, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS).&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepare construction documents and cost estimates&nbsp;for&nbsp;City, County and&nbsp;State&nbsp;roadway&nbsp;and&nbsp;highway&nbsp;projects.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform complex engineering design tasks per Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT’s) design standards.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate the technical aspects of assigned projects.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Train developing staff on design&nbsp;and operational&nbsp;analysis&nbsp;software packages for&nbsp;traffic engineering projects.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
