    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Element Materials Technology – Hartford is seeking an experienced Immersion Ultrasonic Testing (IUT) Level III to support and lead technical activities within our immersion ultrasonic department. This role serves as a technical authority, providing expertise in scan plan development, system programming, validation, and customer/OEM interface while ensuring compliance with NAS 410 and customer specifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly to support operational and customer needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary: $100,000 - $150,000/yr DOE </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to the immersion ultrasonic department</li>\n <li>Develop and review scan plans, inspection techniques, and inspection strategies</li>\n <li>Program and support immersion ultrasonic systems, including IRT and Matec platforms</li>\n <li>Support calibrations, system verifications, and equipment performance checks</li>\n <li>Lead and support new part validation and first-article inspection activities</li>\n <li>Develop, review, revise, and approve inspection procedures in accordance with NAS 410, customer, and Element requirements</li>\n <li>Train, mentor, and technically support Level I and Level II personnel</li>\n <li>Support customer and OEM submissions through portals or direct technical communication</li>\n <li>Participate in audits, technical reviews, and customer meetings as required</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with Element quality systems, customer specifications, and industry standards</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>NAS 410 Level III certification in Immersion Ultrasonic Testing (IUT)</li>\n <li>Extensive experience in immersion ultrasonic inspection methods and aerospace components</li>\n <li>Strong technical writing skills with the ability to develop, revise, and maintain procedures and technical documentation</li>\n <li>Effective communication skills for direct interaction with customers, OEMs, and internal teams</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible hours as required to support operations and customer schedules</li>\n <li>Preferred Qualifications</li>\n <li>Familiarity with IRT and Matec immersion scan systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Experience supporting aerospace OEMs including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pratt & Whitney</li>\n <li>General Electric</li>\n <li>Rolls-Royce</li>\n <li>Prior experience with new part introduction and validation activities</li>\n <li>Experience with OEM submission portals and direct OEM technical communication</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
