    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.32.33/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p data-pasted=\"true\">Diodes Incorporated, located at 333 Western Avenue in South Portland, is seeking a <strong>Night-Shift Semiconductor Fab Operator</strong> to join our talented manufacturing team. <strong>Solid work ethic and focus on quality are required. &nbsp;</strong>No experience is necessary; we will provide on the job training.</p><p>As a Full-Time Night-Shift Operator, you will be at the front lines of the exciting process that converts batches of blank silicon wafers (called wafer lots) into carriers of completed integrated circuits. These finished products are found in popular high-tech devices, like smart phones, tablets, medical devices and even self-driving cars!</p><p><strong>The work schedule is an <u>overnight</u> 12-hour shift, 6pm &ndash; 6am, with a 3-day rotating schedule</strong>. Night shift provides a <strong>15% shift differential</strong> on top of the base pay.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><em>Are you interested in working in a highly controlled, laboratory-like environment, called a clean room?</em></li><li><em>Do you have any problems wearing lightweight hoods, smocks, boots, and safety glasses throughout the majority of your 12-hour shift?&nbsp;</em>To help protect the highly sensitive tech products worked within the cleanroom, we are not able to allow the wearing of perfume, cologne, hairspray, makeup, contact lenses*, dresses, and open-toed/high-heeled shoes. *Prescription safety goggles voucher program is supported by our EHS team.</li><li><em>Do you have the drive and capability to be cross trained to learn more than one job or operation?&nbsp;</em>Manufacturing equipment (&quot;tools&quot;) at our Fabrication plant is sophisticated and requires different levels of learning which offer opportunities for growth and career development.</li><li><em>Do you have a desire to learn and grow in manufacturing in the semiconductor industry?</em>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work is conducted in a highly controlled, clean-room environment.</li><li>Gowned and suited in PPE designed for a laboratory-like environment for the majority of a 12hr shift.</li><li>Capable of completing detailed work in structured environment while following established safety and quality procedures.
