    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">At In Flight, Inc., we empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach for hopes and dreams and support a meaningful quality of life.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">In Flight Inc., is a nonprofit that provides support services within a home environment and the community for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">$19.75-$22.75&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Increases based on:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience-$0 .25- $1.00</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Education- $0.50- $1.50</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>&nbsp;The position is located in Catskill. &nbsp;Monday- Friday 8am-4pm. &nbsp;The schedule will adjust to accommodate evenings and weekends as needed to provide appropriate support.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>The job coach will be able to assess and prepare the people we support in finding work in the community. They will work with the Care Manager to develop a Supported Employment Plan that will be used to direct the person&rsquo;s direction in employment support. They will work with a caseload of people and employers to develop working relationships that enables them to have success in competitive employment in the community.</p><p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Job development in the community.</li><li>Job placement of appropriate candidates.</li><li>Follow the process and requirements of the Employee Training Program (ETP), when applicable.</li><li>Provide services of at least 4-7 billable hours per day.</li><li>Document accurately and contemporaneously for billing for SEMP, PreVoc and Day Hab services.</li><li>Engage in PreVoc volunteer opportunities.</li><li>Will attend required Eleversity trainings for SEMP.</li><li>Interact with employers concerning people on their caseload.</li><li>Teach units at I-SAIL academy.</li><li>Work one-on-one with people supported on their specific needs.</li><li>Provide transportation to and from ISAIL location when needed.</li><li>Job coach on a regular basis for people on their caseload.</li><li>Document activities on a daily basis in Therap.</li><li>Maintain quality services at all times based on the participant&rsquo;s individual valued outcomes.</li><li>Open communication with supervisors.</li></ul><p><strong><u>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>High School Diploma/GED is required; an associate degree is preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>1 year of related experience is preferred. Working as caregivers or with adults with developmental disabilities.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Be empathetic and have a team approach to care for the individuals.</li><li>Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Be energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.</li></ul><p><strong><u>SKILLS</u></strong></p><p><u>Language Skills:</u> The employee must have the ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, short correspondence/memos. Have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.</p><p><u>Mathematical Skills:</u> Have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide 2-3 digit numbers using units of United States&rsquo; currency, weight, volume, and distance measurements.</p><p><u>Reasoning Skills:</u> Have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Have the ability to problem solve, involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</p><p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Valid NYS driver license.</li><li>The employee is required to successfully complete several agency training courses, including but not limited to crisis intervention and prevention training, Medication Administration, PR/First Aid, SCIP-R and Behavior Management. Upon hire and as required through certification standards. Employee will be required to maintain any specialized training as required by position and regulation.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</u></strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
