    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p><strong>Engineering Manager</strong></p><p>Loadmaster is a national manufacturer of refuse bodies.</p><p>We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to oversee the design and production of refuse equipment from concept to production. This individual will be working with and leading a team which works with hydraulic and electrical systems in addition to designing the structure of a refuse truck. This position requires leadership, analytical thinking, organizational skills, and a range of engineering skills. <strong>This is a hands-on engineering leadership role requiring both strong technical design capability and team leadership experience.</strong></p><p><strong><u>Essential Job Functions</u></strong></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Oversee and assist in the creation of design and production documentation using Solid Works and AutoCAD for drawings and Word for specifications</li><li>Lead the day-to-day operations of the engineering department while actively contributing to engineering and product development activities</li><li>Track individual and departmental progress on projects</li><li>Work with management to prioritize the work load</li><li>Lead and develop the engineering team, which may include taking disciplinary action</li><li>When not directly working with the engineering team on issues work on completing current projects</li><li>Work with vendors for key component selection and documentation</li><li>Prepare and implement test procedures necessary to validate the design and performance of the product</li></ul><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology</li><li>Strong leadership and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience using Solid Works, AutoCAD, or other drafting software</li><li>Experience using finite element analysis software preferred</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office products</li><li>Written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to understand customer needs, identify root causes of problems, and implement sound solutions</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills</li><li>Knowledge of fabrication, welding, hydraulics, and/or electrical circuit design a plus</li><li>Previous group or team leadership experience</li></ul><p>We offer a full benefits package which includes:</p><ul><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Dental</li><li>Vision</li><li>401k</li><li>Paid Vacation</li><li>Paid Holidays</li><li>Disability</li><li>Life Insurance</li></ul></div></div></div>\n",
