As a senior engineer, you will play a key role in setting technical direction, mentoring others, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.</p><h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software solutions.</li><li>Own features from ideation to deployment, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and performance.</li><li>Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.</li><li>Drive technical excellence through code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape the long-term technical strategy.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems and cloud environments.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and collaboration.</li><li>Continuously improve development processes, tools, and systems for efficiency and quality.</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3><ul><li>3+ years of professional software development experience (backend-focused).</li><li>Strong proficiency in <strong>Go</strong>, with experience in one or more additional languages such as <strong>Node.js, Python, or Java</strong>.</li><li>Solid experience with <strong>PostgreSQL</strong> and familiarity with key-value stores like <strong>Redis or DynamoDB</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>cloud environments</strong> (AWS preferred) and microservices-based architectures.</li><li>Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and API development.</li><li>Experience with <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> and automated testing.</li><li>Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.</li><li>Passion for problem-solving, technical excellence, and continuous learning.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed, remote-first team.</li><li>Bonus: Exposure to frontend frameworks or full-stack development.</li></ul><p>At Qube, we value innovation, collaboration, and long-term thinking.
