Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons. &nbsp;In addition to competitive compensation packages, Full time Intertek employees are eligible for a variety of benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, medical plan options, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, tuition reimbursement, and more.</p><p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and conduct surveillance inspections in accordance with scheduling requirements.</li><li>Document manufacturer’s production and quality processes; review required production tests, including methods, equipment used and calibration of equipment.</li><li>Inspect ETL Listed products, subassemblies and components with respect to the Certification Documents; review ETL label inventory and control; review non-compliances issued as a result of previous inspections and document unresolved issues; select samples as directed.</li><li>Document compliance and non-compliance found during the inspection and advise clients on proper resolution.</li><li>Complete and submit Follow-up Service Inspection Report for each client inspected.</li><li>Communicate information between facility representatives and Intertek personnel.</li><li>Maintain expenses within given guidelines.</li><li>Perform other work as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED and 10+ years directly related experience; associate degree in related area and 5+ years directly related experience; or bachelor’s degree in related area and 1+ year directly related experience</li><li>Experience in electronic/electrical product manufacturing/testing or quality/reliability testing, engineering, electrical inspection, manufacturing or quality control</li><li>Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable driving record</li><li>Ability to travel as business needs dictate, up to 75%</li><li>Must have access to the internet</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds</li><li>Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time</li><li>Ability to climb stairs and ladders</li><li><strong>This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.</strong></li><li><strong>Applicants will be required to complete an I-9 to verify their eligibility to work in the U.S.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with the “National Electric Code” and/or product compliance requirements to nationally recognized safety standards.</li><li>Knowledge of Quality Control methods (ISO 9000/14000, QS 9000, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen &amp; Statistical Process Control).</li></ul><p><strong>Intertek Total Quality Assured</strong></p><p>Intertek is a world leader in the Quality Assurance market, with a proven, high-quality business model and a global network of customer-focused operations and highly engaged subject matter experts.
