SCM leverages fundamental and intra-basin knowledge to optimize the value of producer resources, reduce bottlenecks and deliver higher netbacks to the producer.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>POSITION SUMMARY</p><p>The Crude Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining various equipment to include but is not limited to electric motors, centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, triplex pumps, control valves, ball valves, and LACTs. Must be able to perform minor electrical troubleshooting and assess issues. Must be able to prioritize safety while maintaining efficient and reliable performance from all applicable equipment. Reports to the Crude Maintenance Lead. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots complex systems.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Trains new technicians as needed.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Provides maintenance support for assigned assets such as, but not limited to, crude oil LACTs, crude oil pumps (triplex, centrifugal, and gear pumps), pipelines, and crude oil terminals. Assets typically consist of site, site structures, buildings, and industrial equipment, which varies by asset&rsquo;s functionality.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs preventative and predictive maintenance and repairs on facility-specific equipment.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assist other workgroups in the daily operation of a system to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintains complete, accurate, and regulatory-compliant documentation. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) develops experience with software packages with multiple maintenance functionalities such as equipment data management, preventative maintenance, work order system, scheduling planning, inventory control, asset tracking.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Equipment maintenance develops knowledge of and ability to perform asset-specific preventative and predictive maintenance to assure equipment operation at acceptable performance levels.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Mechanical aptitude develops the ability to understand and apply mechanical concepts and principles such as, but not limited to, sounds, heat conduction, velocity, gravity, friction, pressure, kinetic and potential energy, etc., when working or using mechanical machinery.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Repairing develops knowledge of and ability to repair machines, devices, and equipment based on electrical and/or mechanical principles to diagnose malfunctions. Conducts tests and inspections to evaluate quality or performance. Watches gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure machine/device/equipment is working properly. Able to read, interpret, and engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Safety applies in difficult or complex situation&rsquo;s ability to recognize safety risks in operational activities and use appropriate measures to control and manage identified risks.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Safety awareness ability to recognize and identify potential hazards. Evaluates changes in the work environment concerning the impact on the safety of self and others. Understands potential threats created by deviation from safety procedures and improper use of tools and equipment. Uses personal protection equipment. Uses tools and equipment in compliance with manuals and training. Calls attention to potential and actual hazardous conditions as they arise. Demonstrates knowledge of lockout/tag-out procedures.
