    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Description:<span> </span></span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: rgb(32, 31, 30); font-size: 12pt\">Historic New England seeks seasonal, part-time Guides to work weekends at Historic New England’s<span> </span><a href=\"https://www.historicnewengland.org/property/governor-john-langdon-house/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Langdon House,</a><span> </span>where free and enslaved people lived in close proximity as the dramatic events of the American Revolutionary War unfolded around them. Guides will conduct tours of the museum property and<span> </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">assist with daily museum operations including ticket and membership sales.<span> </span><span style=\"color: rgb(32, 31, 30)\">In addition to the presentation of interpretative tours, guides<span> </span></span>will participate in d<span style=\"color: rgb(32, 31, 30)\">aily care of the museum spaces and collections and assist the Site Manager with public programs and group tours</span>. Training is provided.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span>Qualifications:</span><br>Applicants should enjoy working with the public, have excellent communication skills, have an interest in inclusive history, and be comfortable working with computers. Experience in customer service desirable.
