We do this with our local implementing partner, Kopila Valley Sewa Samaj, and through close ties with the local community. We will strive to provide our children with scholarships (should they choose to pursue higher education), and the skills required to enter the world as global citizens, and ambassadors for change.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: #339966; font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Responsible for designing, conducting, and presenting the monitoring and evaluation of BlinkNow Nepal and its implementing partner organization - Kopila Valley Sewa Samaj (KVSS). Working directly under the Country Representative, this position will also prepare the M&amp;E plan, be part of setting indicators, conduct assessments and evaluations, and data collection, data analysis, and presentation to ensure the quality outcome of the programs. </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This role is expected to be humble, patient, and passionate about working with team members and the children. The primary focus of this role is promoting professionalism and measuring the impact of the organization.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Work Location:</span> Surkhet Based</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Deadline:</span> Rolling Basis<br><br><span style=\"color: #339966; font-weight: bold\">The Main Responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Design monitoring and evaluation framework for the organization in coordination with the Country Representative. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct Structured M&amp;E at a set frequency as per the approved plan and function as the data focal person for the organization.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Prepare the impact reports and provide recommendations for improvement.</span><br></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966; font-weight: bold\">Detailed Responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The M&amp;E Manager will be mainly responsible for overseeing the following areas of responsibility:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Design monitoring and evaluation framework for the organization in coordination with the Country Representative.</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Define each function/program area for monitoring and evaluation. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Draft indicators for performance measurement for each program and project’s functions to guide the structured M&amp;E.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Research on the methods of defining indicators and conducting M&amp;E to build the organization’s M&amp;E plan. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop detailed short and long-term M&amp;E plans for the organization.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communicate the approved indicators to the implementing teams to help set the team goals and to evaluate the programs.  </span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct structured M&amp;E of the functions of BlinkNow’s implementing partner organizations </span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop surveys, questionnaires, and other tools required for conducting M&amp;E.   </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead relevant data collection, including using field study where necessary. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Analyze the collected information for its reliability and accuracy.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure data collection procedures including consenting and data safety, utilizing the tools introduced by the organization. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Follow approved strategy and plan and coordinate with the team members at BlinkNow Nepal and KVSS for conducting structured M&amp;E.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Prepare the impact reports and provide recommendations for improvement and function as the data focal person for the organization.  </span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Prepare impact data for regular quarterly reporting and partner reporting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strengthen the continued internal data feed-in process required for progress tracking. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage the data tracking and reporting platform for the display of impact data.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">In coordination with the team build protocols and ensure data safety and security. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Build an iterative process for continued data feed-in for programmatic improvement. </span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Additional Expectations</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Build positive working relationships and environment in the organization by bringing solutions to the discussion table. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and execution of duties. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Report to the manager on a weekly basis and as needed in case of urgent issues. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Promote team alignment on the org-wide decisions.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure and enforce confidentiality in collected information/data. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\"> relevant discipline</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 55, 68); font-size: 12pt\">Experience: At least 7 years of proven experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (minimum 2 years in a managerial role)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 55, 68); font-size: 12pt\">Language: A good communicator, and fluent in English and Nepali</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 55, 68); font-size: 12pt\">Skills and Abilities: Initiator, ability to use computer tools, passionate about and caring for children and vulnerable populations;
