    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><b>About the job:&nbsp;</b></span></p>\n<p><i>Kent is looking for a Project Controls Specialist&nbsp;to support our client’s projects in Bayport, TX.</i></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><i>You will&nbsp;maintain project estimating, scheduling, costs, risk management, and project change requests.&nbsp;</i></span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><i>Typical project sizes range from $10k - $6MM TIC.&nbsp;</i></span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><i>Days will include interfacing with Project Managers, outside vendors, purchasing, and accounting.</i></span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><i>You will be responsible for tracking and reporting project metrics, supporting the project managers in</i></span></p>\n<p><span><i>schedules, cost reports, and purchasing.</i></span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<table>\n <tbody>\n  <tr>\n   <td>Basic Job Requirements&nbsp;&nbsp;</td>\n  </tr>\n  <tr>\n   <td>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p>\n    <ul>\n     <li><span>Update monthly presentation and data for actual project spend and forecasts.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Update monthly presentation for schedule compliance of projects.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Support the development of capital planning and budgeting in the Long-Range Plan.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Develop ad hoc reports as needed related to Project Controls.</span></li>\n    </ul>\n    <p><span>Cost Management</span></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li><span>Work with Project Managers/Engineers to develop estimates and budgets breakdowns for projects.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Maintain cost workbooks for projects.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Enter requestions Project Managers/Engineers.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Input service receipts and process through SAP at the direction of Capital Lead.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Work with Accounts Payable, Receiving, and Accounting to ensure proper receipt and closeout of Purchase Orders.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Maintain forecasts monthly for capital projects.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Follow up with vendors to maintain invoicing forecasts.</span></li>\n    </ul>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p>\n    <p><span>Project Schedules</span></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li><span>Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules, ensuring timely and accurate updates.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Track progress relative to baseline schedules and deadlines.</span></li>\n    </ul>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p>\n    <p><span>Change Management</span></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li><span>Facilitate the engineering and construction change management process with Project Managers/Engineers.</span></li>\n    </ul>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p>\n    <p><span>In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.</span></p>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p>\n    <p><b><u>Qualification/ Training/ Certification:&nbsp;</u></b></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li><span>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.</span></li>\n     <li><span>3 years of project controls or cost analyst experience.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Strong data analytical skills.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Strong Experience with SAP.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Experience with scheduling software like Microsoft Project is preferred.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Experience with data visualization software like Power BI is preferred.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Excellent organization skills.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Ability to organize data and multi-task.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Ability to present updates to the project team and management.</span></li>\n    </ul>\n    <p style=\"margin-left:0.75in\">&nbsp;</p>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p>\n    <p><span><b><u>HSSEQ:</u></b></span></p>\n    <p><span>The Employee shall observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules of the Company; it’s clients and the governing authorities of the host country.&nbsp;</span></p>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p></td>\n  </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>",
