Utilizing specific tools and devices, the role ensures precise tolerances and requirements are met to always uphold the highest quality standards.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities (including but not limited to):</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Support the Quality Department in maintaining the highest quality standards for all parts, products, and finished goods.</li><li>Inspect finished products before transitioning to the next department or holding area.</li><li>Conduct layered audits and quality checks.</li><li>Generate detailed quality reports as necessary.</li><li>Collaborate with Supervisors to address production or processing issues.</li><li>Work with department Supervisors and Managers to establish and monitor product standards, including examining raw product samples and directing testing during processing.</li><li>Review parts to determine if they meet quality standards.</li><li>Assist in setting up and calibrating gauging and measuring devices; provide training to floor associates on device usage.</li><li>Track parts and manage scrap.</li><li>Package finished products and prepared them for shipment as needed.</li><li>Rotate through all tasks required in a particular production process.</li><li>Ensure proper adherence to 5-S principles.</li><li>Perform various operations within the group to maintain workflow.</li><li>Adhere to Quality policies and standards, including ISO 9001, TS16949, IATF16949.</li><li>Follow all environmental, health, and safety policies.</li><li>Fulfill other assigned duties.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Broad knowledge of quality systems, including TS16949, ISO, QS; experience in continuous improvement, Kaizen, 5-S, lean manufacturing, KANBAN, TPS.</li><li>Quality experience in an assembly and manufacturing environment.</li><li>Ability to pass X Rite color hue test.</li><li>1+ year of relevant experience.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Technical/Computer Skills:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Identify visual defects and contribute to quality decisions.</li><li>Properly use quality gauges, tools, and devices.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Proficient in math, reading, and writing.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Education:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical Demands:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>The physical requirements outlined below are indicative of those necessary for an employee to effectively carry out the essential functions of this job.
