With more than 60,000 completed projects, we’re known for delivering high-quality, innovative and reliable building envelope solutions to commercial, industrial and institutional clients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Cladding Drafting Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the production of high-quality shop and fabrication drawings. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about precision in design and construction.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft and develop detailed shop drawings for a variety of cladding systems for approval, in-house fabrication and field installation both in metric and/or imperial</li>\n<li>Draft and develop complex fabrication models based on point cloud data (3D laser scanning) to verify accuracy in production</li>\n<li>Generate comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for various cladding components for production</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with teams to ensure seamless project execution and maintain communication throughout project lifecycles</li>\n<li>Review project specifications, drawings, estimates, and existing dialogues to ensure the accuracy of systems to be developed in the shop drawings</li>\n<li>Utilize Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD 2D and 3D modelling, and Recap PRO to create precise technical drawings and BIM models that align with project requirements. Inventor (an asset)</li>\n<li>Work closely with the drafting team to meet project deadlines and maintain efficiency</li>\n<li>Ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and efficiency in all drawings by reviewing project specifications, drawings, existing dialogues, and current products.</li>\n<li>Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in design and documentation</li>\n<li>Maintain organized collaboration with existing drawings and databases</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Bring to the Team</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of building envelope systems and cladding systems</li>\n<li>Ability to read, interpret, and produce detailed construction drawings accurately</li>\n<li>Hands-on drafting experience in a construction-related environment</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD 2D and 3D modelling, Recap PRO.
