    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Title: RF/Digital Engineer </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: Melville, NY (100% onsite)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Salary: $95,000-$115,000/yr DOE</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Investigates and conducts studies on specifications and requirements of the project.</li>\n <li>Performs original RF and Digital circuit design and analysis.</li>\n <li>Supplies technical assistance and coordination to designers and staff assigned to the project.</li>\n <li>Provides directions to the Engineering Technician and Associate Engineer while breadboarding, wiring, debugging and testing are being performed.</li>\n <li>Designs and plans, wiring layouts and schematics.</li>\n <li>Plans tests to be conducted and arranges the test setup.</li>\n <li>Checks performance of devices during tests and evaluates the results.</li>\n <li>Provides technical assistance in the preparation of spare parts lists, special tools, test equipment and other engineering data.</li>\n <li>Specifies the procurement of specialized components and test equipment.</li>\n <li>Assists in the preparation of bids and proposals.</li>\n <li>Uses PC-based Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) programs of moderate complexity.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree Electrical engineering (BSEE) or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years prior experience or master’s degree and a minimum of 2 years prior experience.</li>\n <li>3+ years of RF Microwave and/or Digital Engineering experience in design, development, analysis and investigation of electronic devices and systems required.</li>\n <li>Must be familiar:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Modeling and Simulating</li>\n   <li>Optimizing new conceptual circuits along with evaluating, testing, tuning, and modifying circuits.</li>\n   <li>Amplifier design using both packaged components and bare die</li>\n   <li>Microprocessor programming languages: C, C++</li>\n   <li>Real time operating systems (RTOS)</li>\n   <li>Knowledge of hardware development as it pertains to embedded software</li>\n   <li>Microprocessors from Microchip (PIC)</li>\n   <li>Verilog or VHDL to describe digital circuits for FPGA design.</li>\n   <li>Xilinx FPGA and development tools</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
