Works to ensure lounge specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Sees that lounge and facilities are cleaned and maintained to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with sanitation regulations. Cleaning duties include but are not limited to restrooms, trash removal, and furniture. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Click here to apply!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Basic Skills </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><em>Hospitality Focus</em> – focus on guest satisfaction and providing memorable experiences. Generous, friendly, and warm spirited.  </li>\n <li><em>Guest Experience</em> - Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor always ensuring the highest level of guest experience in an elevated environment. </li>\n <li><em>Active Listening</em> – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.  </li>\n <li><em>Speaking</em> – Talking to others to convey information effectively. </li>\n <li><em>Conflict Resolution</em> – deescalate situations in a professional and courteous manner. </li>\n <li><em>Problem Solving</em> – develop solutions to remove obstacles to problems that may arise. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Cleaner Primary Job Duties </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, break rooms. </li>\n <li>Assist with clearing tables of dirty dishes and cleaning tables.</li>\n <li>Restock beverage stations. </li>\n <li>Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaner and/or shampooers. </li>\n <li>Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to designated disposal areas within and outside of the lounge.</li>\n <li>Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors in restrooms. </li>\n <li>Replenish restroom supplies, polish metalwork including fixtures and fittings.</li>\n <li>Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Additional floor work may be required such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.  </li>\n <li>Washes walls and woodwork, clean windows, door panels, partitions, and windowsills, etc. </li>\n <li>Notifies supervisor concerning any need for any maintenance repairs or additions observed.  </li>\n <li>Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and partitions. </li>\n <li>Must be able to stand during an entire scheduled shift. </li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Cleaner Minimum Acceptable Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the housekeeping/janitorial field. </li>\n <li>Requires ability to maintain a presentable and polished appearance in keeping with service standards in a best-in-class environment. </li>\n <li>Be able to stand during entire scheduled shift. </li>\n <li>Ability to handle the stress of a face-paced work shift up to ten (10) hours. </li>\n <li>Requires the ability to lift and / or move up to 40 pounds. </li>\n <li>Requires the ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions. </li>\n <li>Report on work on a regular and timely basis.</li>\n <li>Adheres to all local and state health department guidelines. </li>\n <li>Able to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. </li>\n <li>Must be able to pass and obtain security background check and clearance to work in airport environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Medical Insurance (Health, Dental, Vision)</p></li>\n <li><p>Disability Insurance</p></li>\n <li><p>Vacation and PTO</p></li>\n <li><p>401K Plan with generous Company Matching</p></li>\n <li><p>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</p></li>\n <li><p>Employee Corporate Discounts for nationally recognized products and services (childcare, electronics, entertainment, hotels, home, groceries, restaurants, auto, travel, and pets)</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ABOUT THE COMPANY</strong></p>\n<p>Hyde Park Hospitality (HPH) is a young—but dynamic and fast-growing—company built on deep roots in the food business.
