    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Salary Range: $38,670 - $50,464.50 - $62,259&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>FLSA: Nonexempt</strong></p><p>The purpose of this classification is to install and maintain traffic signs and road markings.<br><br><strong>Essential Functions:</strong><br><br>The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.<br><br>Leads the installation and maintenance of traffic control signs; assists the graphic design technicians; removes old signs and posts; responds to emergency calls; maintains daily record of installs and work locations; inspects traffic signs; directs traffic; and performs needed cleaning, repairs, or replacements.<br><br>Leads the installation of road markings; operates paint truck to install roadway striping; drives follow-up truck during roadway striping operations; paints and stencils traffic pavement markings; operates spray gun and roller; prepares work site; and mixes and loads paint.<br><br>Directs and trains crew members; inputs work order data; leads the maintenance of office space and equipment; cleans and maintains spray equipment; cleans and maintains vehicles; cleans office space; refills propane tanks; and inventories supplies and equipment</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong><br><br>High school diploma or GED required; three years of experience installing and maintaining traffic signs and markers; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.</p><p><strong>Specific License or Certification Required: </strong>Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Commercial Driver’s License, including appropriate endorsements.</p>",
